For the first time, Rusty presents study mate, smart girl Kris Slater, puzzling the team enough to spy on them shamelessly for a bet how for they will bond. Drunk Lloyd Gibbs's alibi -apart for the beer he stole by not paying- is the phone slut Shampagne, a youth acquaintance which he believes responsive to his romantic interest, but who turns out involved deeper with a third fiend.
