Ben duly insists to co-investigate with Michaela, who needs him as driver due to a paralyzing nightmare, the death of self-appointed, provocatively authorities-hostile survivors 'spokesperson' Kelly Taylor, who was murdered at home. NSA Director Vance leans on her ex and direct superior Jared Vasquez to become his informant or face consequences for covering and aiding her illicit inquiries in the murder case which the NSA takes over from the NYPD. Kelly's fresh widower Patrick's leased properties turn out the key. Cal finds his former playmate Kevin, now a teen, prefers his equally growing-up girl twin Olive and tells their parents she sneaks out at night, while Ben worries about bugging and his wife's other men. Saanvi Bahl and the NSA realize Kelly's corpse, which 'disappears', is unique material for medical tests on the survivor physiology.
